We own a lovely brick built chalet on California Sands Near Gt Yarmouth in Norfolk. It is lovingly furnished with a double bedroom and a treble bedroom, Double at the bottom and single bunk on top. We have a lovely remote controlled electric fire and 3 piece in the lounge. This is a lovely warm chalet a real home from home. There is a fully fitted kitchen which is clean and well equipped a bathroom with a full bath and shower over. We offer discounts on request for couples, where only one lot of bedding is required. We also discount longer term lets, please ask for details. The site has full entertainment in school holidays and entertainment throughout the holiday season. We provide all passes for the club on site Club Oasis and you also get free entry to Dutchy’s Bar and the California Tavern down the road. The beach is straight down the road a 5 minute walk and Hemsby is a 20 min walk away and a 5 min drive. Great Yarmouth is 4 miles away and the bus stops outside the site. We have had several guests with limited mobility and they love the electric riser /recliner chair in the lounge. We own 2 chalets on site so larger family groups are welcome. A travel cot is provided for free. This chalet has a lovely sunny patio complete with table and chairs. The Swimming pool is open from mid May to Mid Sept and we provide free passes for your use. Please note that the Fun sessions provided separatley are not included with the free passes. Electricity is provided by a pound coin meter. We have not used holiday lettings for a couple of years as we are so popular with returning guests, however as we changed our minds about selling up we will be using this platform this year. Please feel free to ask any questions as your holiday memories are important to us and you need to book the correct accomodation for your needs. We do allow well behaved pets in this property as long as the pet policy contract is followed.

2021 Chalet price list which includes bedding and Club passes, the Oasis Club opens in March depending on Covid regulations. Dutchies Tavern is free for all. The Owners cannot be held responsible if any of this information change, if the site is closed due to lockdown or tier levels or if your home address is affected we will either refund your holiday or you can book a later date. The choice is yours. Mid -week and Weekend breaks are available during the year and school holidays can be booked from 1-7 weeks.

California Sands Estate Holiday Park

California Sands Estate Holiday Park is close to the beach and ideally located for Norfolk Broads and Great Yarmouth.

The park offers a swimming pool, family clubhouse, restaurants and takeaways, along with amusements. The family clubhouse offers entertainment for the young and young at heart. California sand holiday park is a short drive from Great Yarmouth or Hemsby is on your doorstep. Our chalets are only 100 yards from the oasis supermarket and shops. 950 yds from the beach.

REOPENING UPDATE

Club Oasis California Sands (07/04/2021).

Club Oasis is aiming to reopen on Wednesday 14th April from 3pm til 7pm (we will stay open later if there are customers in and they wish to stay longer). Access to the seating area will be via the garden gate and takeaway drinks (in plastic cups) will also be available to order from the 2nd garden gate during these hours. As it is garden service only, the date and times are weather dependant.

We will not be providing table booking so it will be first come first served.

Please note the following rules must be adhered to to allow us to operate:

EVERYONE 16 or over (not just one member of your group) now have to book in either using the NHS track & trace app (we also have to check your phone to confirm you have checked-in) or by providing your name and telephone number to a member of staff.
Face coverings must be worn at all times while not sitting at a table.
Customers can only enter the building to use the toilet or sweet shop and you must be checked in to do this.
A maximum of 6 people or 2 households can sit at a table while in the garden.
Please use the provided hand sanitiser on entry and when using toilets.

Hemsby

Hemsby with its famous Norfolk fish & chips bars and restaurants shops and bars. a great day out for the kids with a gocart track and waltzers. Hemsby Beach, near Great Yarmouth is a lively village resort with shops, amusements, attractions and cafes.

The stunning golden, wide sandy beach with its grassy sand dunes makes this a popular choice with visitors.

Hemsby Beach is also home to the Inshore Rescue and takes part in events such as the Herring Festival and the new Viking festival in June.

All amenities are within easy reach along with deckchair hire, public & disabled toilets.

Paid parking is available within a large car park next to the beach.

RNLI lifeguards patrol between the red and yellow flags in summer between 10am and 6pm.

Great Yarmouth

With its sandy beaches, two historic piers, and seafront Golden Mile comprised of restaurants, amusement rides, and arcades, Great Yarmouth is Norfolk’s flagship beach town and is always crammed with holidaymakers during the summertime. along with its pleasure Beach amusement park, Great Yarmouth and California sand have golden beaches stretching for miles.
